A traditional Apple Pie recipe
that is quick and easy to make
for a perfect tea ( or coffee ) time.
INGREDIENTS:
60 g flour
250g butter
100g sugar
2 eggs
1 vanilla
sugar
½ baking powder
1 cinnamon
sugar
apples
DIRECTIONS:
Peel and core the apples and cut into thin pieces.
In a large bowl, mix
together the apples, vanilla sugar and
cinnamon.
To make the dough, stir together the flour, eggs, sugar
and butter.
Mix the pie dough with a fork just until the dough holds
together.
Transfer the dough to a work surface, pat into a ball and
flatten into a disk.
Roll pie dough into two rounds .
Transfer one of
the dough into the bottom and sides of the dish. Using a small knife, trim the
dough.
Spread the apple mixture in the pie dish.
Put the
second dough round over the apple filling. Trim the dough , then press together
to seal.
Bake for 20 minutes until the crust is golden
brown and the juices visible through the dough.
